In addition to use simply for swimming competitions, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to allow for scientific research for education purposes by looking at the kinematics, dynamics, and exercise physiology of swimming.
The first floor includes swimming, synchronized swimming, and high dive competition equipment and facilities, as well as 50 m long-course lanes (8 lanes) and 25 m short-course lanes (8 lanes). There are also lanes for experimental research (3 lanes: installed with mirrors, pacemakers, etc.), diving boards (5 m, 3 m, 1 m), and an adjustable floor (water level can be adjusted 0-2 m). In order to analyze swimming forms from all angles, there is a pool where the strength of the flow can be increased or decreased along with a data analysis room, etc.
Additionally, on the second floor there are meeting rooms and a catwalk to observe from, where video can be taken.
The water temperature is generally set to 27ºC, and a circulation filtration device is also installed to control the chemicals and disinfect the pool automatically.
