Administration building

On the first floor of the Administration Building is the financial affairs office, the educational affaires office, and the student affairs office.

On the second floor is the president’s office, the director’s office, the director of administration’s office, the executive adviser to the president’s office, the executive supervisor’s office, the general affairs office, and the facilities affairs office, as well as 2 conference rooms.

Mizuno auditorium

The auditorium is used to hold entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, and other lecture events, etc.

It includes the large hall (560 seats), small hall (108 seats), lighting control room, projection room, and sound control room.

This building was donated by Mr. Kenjiro Mizuno, former President of MIZUNO Corporation.

Health Service Center

The Health Service Center conducts specialized work related to the health management of students, faculty, and staff, and in addition to maintaining and promoting good mental and physical health, the facility also provides consultation to students on their studies and daily lives. The center was established in May of 1988.

Here, there are doctors and nurses in residence, and they provide first aid treatment for injuries, etc. that occur on campus, consultation and advice concerning students’ health and mental health, and health guidance, along with carrying out periodic health checks, etc. They also provide occasional seminars related to sports injuries, including topics like rehabilitation.

University hall

The first floor features a dining room (about 170 seats) and a barber shop/hair salon, while the second floor includes a store and the NIFS GALLERY. Various services pertinent to university life are provided, and it also serves as a place of communication and relaxation for students, faculty, and staff.

NIFS GALLERY

On the occasion of the school’s 30th anniversary, the NIFS GALLERY was opened on the second floor of the University Hall and the entrance area of The Graduate School of Physical Education building, as a sports culture gallery using materials and images related to the roles and achievements that our school’s education and research has played and continues to play in society today. In this way, we can share with the public our school’s continuing achievements.

Varied exhibits include panels introducing Olympians associated with our school, Olympic medals, uniforms, and materials, as well as panels showcasing our regional contributions, etc.

Student dormitories

1 building can accomodate 70 people, and there are 4 men’s dorms and 1 women’s dorm (accomodating up to 350 people in total).

All rooms are private (10 m2) with a supplementary loung, bathroom, and washroom on each floor.

Visitor lodging

These are accommodations provided for part-time lecturers and lecturers visiting from overseas, as well as other scholars. There are 2 Japanese-style rooms (8 tatami mats in size), 6 Western-style rooms (16 m2), a lounge, and a bathroom/washroom, where a total of 10 people can stay.

Loading and training facilities building

The facilities are intended for training camps for our students, as well as training camps and seminars hosted by the school for outside participants. They include lecturer accommodations (5 rooms), 9 Western-style rooms (8 beds), and 6 Japanese-style rooms (15 tatami mats in size, accommodating 6 people), where a total of 113 people can stay.

In addition, there are two training rooms (50 person and 20 person capacities).
