Doctor’s Course in Physical Education

Purpose

Based on masters-level education and research, the Doctoral Course in Physical Education of the Graduate School of Physical Education aims to train researchers and instructors who are able to comprehensively understand the results of a diversity of multidisciplinary scientific research in the fields of sports, Budo, physical education, and health promotion, and who can develop and apply new research approaches in academic and interdisciplinary fields.

Furthermore, along with working to promote education and research at the international level by openly accepting active members of society, internationally competitive athletes, and students from abroad, the course aims to construct an information network of domestic and overseas physical education and sports professionals.
